The winemaker. Down-to-earth, honest, dedicated.

Paul D. is winemaker with passion. He was interested in everything connected to the agricultural and wine-growing farm of his grandparents from the cradle. His great interest and passion resulted into a very early take-over of the farm from his grandfather in 2006, at the age of 16 years only. Paul started to export his first wines to the United States only two years afterwards. In the beginning the young winemaker cultivated 35 hectare of agriculture and 4 hectare vineyards but was able to increase these numbers fivefold within 10 years.

In the meantime, Paul is father of two children and leads the winery together with his wife Romana in fourth generation, always growing with the changes of time. Both children, already now, look over Paul’s shoulders whenever they can and are curious about every day’s work in the vineyards and the cellar. With responsibility, thoughtfulness when it comes to sustainability and great love for wine, Paul wants to introduce the people to a piece of Austrian quality of life with his wines.
